Who am I
Giuseppe Bizzarri
I have been working as photographer for many years around the world. I’m from Rome, but I live in Rio de Janeiro, where I work as freelance for national and international media, both as journalist and photo\videographer. I'm a multimedia journalist and through the learning of facts and reality, I try to reach something of myself. I studied Literature at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in the “Years of Lead”, an age in which I have gained experience in journalism, working with some foreign press correspondents in Rome. In 2000 I won the Zapping prize for journalism in Italy with the reportage "Brazilian prisons: hell of the living”, published by the Italian weekly magazine “Avvenimenti". I have large experience documenting United Nations (FAO, IFAD and WFP) projects throughout the world. I exhibit my work in Rome, Paris, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro..
